Jom Mamak

Jom Mamak! is a restaurant management and simulation game. Jom Mamak! is centered around Malaysia’s popular restaurant - the Mamak restaurant. It integrates various elements of gameplay that simulate managing a restaurant in real life. 

Your task is to manage, build and expand a restaurant that you inherited from one of your long-lost uncles. It was once a thriving, bustling restaurant but now it is abandoned and forgotten by many. You have been given a task by him to revive the restaurant, and to bring it back to its former glory and remind the people of the beautiful culture of Malaysia.

With the help of your friends and a handbook written by your uncle, you set off on a journey to bring this restaurant back to life.

This game won the Gold Award and Jury Award in the Level Up Game Development Competition 2021 organised by MDEC (Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation)
